After cleaning the metal bits failed, I ended up cutting the metal ends off and using a butt splice with an environmental seal to connect the 2 wires and bypass the pinch detector all together.I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. It turned out that I partially pulled out the dfi plug on main board when putting it back together.
